India defeated Kazakhstan 3-2 to enter the quarter-finals of the men’s team event.
With the match tied at 2-2, Sharath Kamal won the last match to take India into the last eight. He went down 0-2 but came back to defeat Kenzhigulov 5-11, 7-11, 11-9, 11-8, 11-9.
