Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, which translates to “The Elixir of Freedom’s Nectar” in English, was a year-long celebration held by the Indian government to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. It commenced on March 12, 2021, a 75-week countdown to the 76th Independence Day of India on August 15, 2023.
