A wave of profound grief has swept across Telangana following a horrific head-on collision between a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus and a gravel-laden tipper truck near Mirjaguda in Chevella mandal, Rangareddy district. • State Compensation: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed deep grief. He announced an ex-gratia of ₹7 lakh each for the families of the deceased. An ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh will be given to the injured. He has ordered a detailed investigation into the crash and directed officials to guarantee the best possible medical care. A control room has also been established in the state Secretariat.
• Central Assistance: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh. It is from the PM National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the next of kin of each deceased person. An amount of ₹50,000 is provided for the injured.
