The Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 is taking place from January 17 to 22. It will occur at three venues in the National Capital Region (NCR). These venues are Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. This event is set to be India’s largest automotive event to date.

- Electric Vehicle (EV) Initiatives:
- Maruti Suzuki has unveiled plans to install fast-charging points every 5 to 10 kilometers in India’s top 100 cities. The company is also considering a battery rental service. This is to tackle infrastructure and cost challenges deterring consumers from buying electric cars.
- Tata Motors and MG Motor have introduced incentives like free charging and battery rental plans to boost EV sales.
- Major Launches and Showcases:
- Maruti Suzuki is set to unveil its first electric SUV, the e Vitara. It is based on the eVX electric concept. The SUV aims to compete with models like the Tata Curvv.ev and Hyundai Creta EV.
- Hyundai India plans to showcase the new Creta EV. They will unveil it alongside other EVs like the Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 9. This event marks their India debut.
