Lakme Fashion Week: FDCI Announce Delhi Edition

Lakme Fashion Week is one of the most prestigious and popular fashion events in India. It showcases the latest trends and innovations in the Indian fashion industry, as well as promoting emerging talent and sustainability.

Lakmé Fashion Week has recently partnered with FDCI, the Fashion Design Council of India, to create a unified and inclusive fashion week that celebrates the diversity and creativity of Indian fashion. Therefore, the first edition of Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI was held in March 2021, and the second edition is scheduled for October 2021.

The October edition of Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI will take place from October 12 to October 16 in Delhi. The event will feature over 100 designers and brands, including some of the most renowned names in Indian fashion, such as Tarun Tahiliani, Amit Aggarwal, Anamika Khanna, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Falguni Shane Peacock and many more.

The event will also introduce a unique display of makeup and skin trends in collaboration with trusted partners. Therefore, the event will be held in both physical and digital formats, with live shows, virtual showcases, webinars, podcasts and more. The event will also have a special focus on sustainability, innovation and inclusivity, with initiatives such as the Circular Design Challenge, the Gen Next Program, the Content Creators Program and the Nexa Creator’s Lab.
